In order to move forward sometimes we need to look back into the past just to see how far we have come. As we kick off 2024 we take a trip back to the year 2004 in this Special Edition Digitally Remastered Album. In the early years of my career I had been recording songs demos since the year 2000 and by the summer of 2004 I had an EP collection of music. If the struggle is real today you had to work twice as hard back in the day. This album was recorded at different points in time from 2000 to 2007 which also gave me my Internet start in 2008. At it's core this is a Pop record with elements of Dance / R&B / Hip-Hop music with an Adult Contemporary sound and feel. A mixture of cover songs and samples with some original material which six out of the ten tracks were Written by Garcia. Three out of the ten songs were recorded during the summer of 2004 with all three tracks receiving Local Radio Spots and Club Airplay in Fresno, CA in 2004 to 2006. These humble beginnings hold a very special place in my heart it's where this dream began where I got my start and just shy of the social media DIY experience that was yet to come. The material itself still sounds so fresh today like it did yesterday songs with a simple message and love will always remain classic and timeless. When I started this journey I never could have imagined that it would lead me to this place. 20 years ago I wanted that record deal, 20 years later I'm running my own deal. Who would have thought?

Touching on subject matters ranging from the deep to the disturbed after all this is musical theater darling with a Rock Opus. All songs were carefully selected and took a moment as I had fun going through the catalog of music it was a slow ride. I go off and do other projects with different types of music which I believe makes a great performer but I always will return back to my Rock 'n' Roll roots of music sooner or later. Re-emerging, Re-inventing a new record and sound with a fresh take in '23 is what this album is all about. We worked on this one for a little while plus being on vacation at the same time gave me some space to play with the songs in rehearsals. The recording for the record was very spontaneous I was surprised myself on how we went in and just did it. I wanted to have a not so polished up but still clean and raw almost a Live Rock Band sound. Perhaps sitting on this project and having plenty of sound checks for the rest of my summer fling getaway was perfecting the production for this new album to the best of my abilities. All songs were released between the years of 1982 to 1986 and we are right in the middle of this crazy decade in music when it was all happening musically. Performers like my myself never stick to genres or categories we don't stay stuck in a box are passion for our Art is what calls us out. You can call the album Rock / Pop / New Wave of the 80s if you like? I just call it great music by a Musician & Artist who sings what he is feeling at the moment. If you build it, they will come!

Sometimes I have to remind myself and others that I'm out loud brown and proud and I always find my way back to the club sooner or later.
